I had last visited London in the month of October 2013. I was busy clicking pictures as usual at the London’s Eye alongside the famous river Thames. Well I had been at this area since evening capturing images from the evening to the night time till I captured one of the shots posted in my website.
While I was busy taking shots, I had placed my camera bag on the bench alongside the road by the river Thames. The bag was having a couple of lenses, my shades and my macbook.
Whence I was busy taking a shot, I just had a view from the left side of my eye that some has picked up my bag. I saw a guy in late 20’s probably from the middle east lifting the bag and walking past by briskly.
I chased the guy and caught hold of him from his arm and said why are you carrying my bag. He shouted at me and said its my bag. Not bugged up I shouted even louder and said how dare you do such a thing. Knowing no one to call, I just took out my mobile from my pocket and acted to call up the police.
Without showing any discomfort or fear the guy left my bag and went past murmuring as if he had lost his heard earned fortune.
My advice be it London eye area or any crowded area on any part of the world…….. Just be careful of your belongings
